How long is a branding photography session?

How long is a branding photography session?

An experienced branding photographer will spend at least 2 hours with you, although our minimum is 3 hours.

Let us explain.

We know that 3 hours sounds like a long time in front of the camera. However, from past experience, we have found that anything less than 3 hours just does not cut it. Not only do we always go overtime because we ran out of time during the shoot to capture everything on the client’s list, but the client also felt rushed. And we certainly do NOT want you to feel more stress and anxiety than you already do to appear in front of the camera.

And let us clear up one thing: you will not be in front of the camera for 3 hours straight!

There will be time spent changing outfits, traveling from one location to another, and us adjusting lighting and camera equipment to get the perfect shot. Even a water/snack break will be squeezed in.

Another important thing to note: 3 hours gives us enough time to capture VARIETY. Variety is extremely important for branding and product photo shoots, because as the client, you will be using these images for a long time. Therefore, you will need a variety of them to use for your marketing needs. We simply cannot capture enough variety in less than a 3 hour time frame.

So, how long is a branding photoshoot? How long should you expect one to last?

Our answer: at least 3 hours if you want to get your money’s worth.
